This study was conducted by BCE to assist the Client with its goal of planning and managing of the valuable watershed. During this study BCE identified the limits of the watershed, its boundaries, and tributaries, as well as potential and actual source and non-source pollutants. BCE provided an analysis of the watershed and its drainage patterns. Potential effects of the storm water runoff were identified. BCE worked on developing a watershed map in AutoCAD and GIS formats. This map was based on the current most detailed GIS map available for the city. BCE compiled this map with other existing and new information that included the existing city storm drain system drawings, collected GPS points, commercial, industrial, government and residential facilities, street and road names, as well as other information. Total areas and point source pollution loads were estimated for each watershed. Environmental impacts and hazards were calculated based on the specific and general information that was available. Future requirements for testing, water sampling, and other data collection were identified in BCE reports, along with BMP (Best Management Practices) for the municipal runoff were recommended for implementation by the city.
